Happy January!
The Open Molecular Software Foundation is headed to Barcelona, Spain on May 7–8, 2026 for our fourth annual symposium! We’ll be hearing from teams and projects across the OMSF ecosystem as we gather once again.
This year, the OMSF Symposium will take place at the Sala de la Prat at the Institut d’Estudis Catalans (IEC). With its welcoming setting, the IEC offers an ideal space for collaboration and conversation; and we’re excited to bring the community together there.
As with past years, the OMSF Symposium will take place alongside other cornerstone community events. The week will also feature the Free Energy Workshop 2026 and the inaugural Co-Folding Summit, creating a full slate of opportunities throughout the week to dive deep into methods, models, and the future of molecular software.
The symposium itself will bring together contributors, researchers, and partners from across academia and industry to share updates, highlight recent advances, and explore what’s next for OMSF-hosted projects. Programming is expected to include keynotes, project updates, panel discussions, technical demos, and plenty of time to connect with one another.
Registration is now open! Attendance is free and open to long-time partners, new contributors, and anyone interested in learning more about open molecular software. Space will be limited, so be sure to register early to secure your spot.
More details, including the full agenda, will be shared soon. We look forward to welcoming the community to Barcelona in 2026!
